RAS ZACHARRI BIOGRAFIA

Ras Zacharri is one of the most vibrant, uprising reggae artistes to emerge out of Jamaica in this time..
Born in the parish of St. Andrews, He currently resides in Parish of Portland , Jamaica

In 2006 he started to work with Roots Garden Records , a record label that is based in the United kingdom on which he released the mighty sounds and sweet melody’s of „When Jah Wrath". This was followed by the release of „River Jordan“ featuring Luciano a hit single, he has also contributed to many successful productions including his own Shem-Ha-Boreh record label which brings fourth the origin of his debut album Herbsman (2009) featuring Natty King and Gregory Isaacs, Herbsman has received a global response from a eager for more audience, building him the well earned reputation as a real herbalist. Again the second album New Horizon (2011) on his Shem-Ha-Boreh label, featuring Earl Sixteen, was greatly received.

Zacharri‘s third album Rootstep, is a collaboration with a San Francisco‘s dubstep producer by the name of roommate , the album is a blend between powerful vocals over organic digital dubstep riddims featuring Chezidek and Junior Kelly a King Dubbist production.

(FR), Ostrodo (PL), Reggae Na Piaskach (PL), Waterproof Festival (FR), Festa Del Sole (IT), as well as other bookings in, France, Bulgaria, Slovakia, Slovenia, Czech Rep, Amsterdam, Italy, Spain and Portugal, etc... Zacharri has also build up a great fan base in parts of Africa (Zambia, Kenya… ) Since his emergence, Ras Zacharri has graced the stage of Many festivals & shows in Europe : Reggae Sun Seine (FR), Sommand
In all these shows he received an engaging vibe and showed the audience that he had indeed arrived.

Zacharri is constantly working on new projects with his band Kasha rootz.

And his music continues to grow popularity, as both a recording and touring artiste. He is currently working on a new album LOVE OVER HATE and a new EP so you can look out for more uplifting and conscious vibes from the ‘Herbsman’.
