Nu Evolution Band is based in Toronto, Ontario. Founded by Theo Patterson, band Leader and guitarist, this band is preparing to take Toronto/Ontario by storm sharing its roots reggae, calypso, soca and R&B music.

Nu Evolution Band combines heavenly harmonies with tight energetic performances, the two powerhouse talented singers – Diane and Charlene whose professional experience when combined, totals over 30 years, captures the audiences with their very first note. The bass player and Keyboardist who are the newest members to the band but not to the music scene, has added that extra zing to the band with the drummer Tyrone. The Nu Evolution Band’s repertoire combines original and cover compositions with classic and current roots & conscious reggae, soca, calypso and R&B, it is designed to entertain, educate and enlighten all types of people. The band continues to be a dynamic force on the Canadian music scene, their songs regardless of the genre always portray peace, love and harmony.

Some of the Nu Evolution Band members has opened for and played with these major label reggae bands and artists – Frankie Paul, Lukie D, Freddie McGregor, Marcia Griffiths, Beres Hammond, Sizzla to name a few. This band without a doubt is definitely the band to look out for in the coming years.
