They have toured all over the U.S. and has shared the stage with artists such as Third World, Burning Spear, Israel Vibrations, Jimmy Cliff, The Wailers, Black Uhuru, Culture, Alpha Blondy, Lucky Duby ,Gregory Isaacs and Peter Broggs. They were also honored to perform at one of Bill Clinton's victory parties where they delighted over 4,000 guests. This led to news coverage by the all the major networks.
In 1991 they received Four Wammies from the Washington Area Music Association for their album "Shadow of the Pyramid". These were for Best Reggae Group, Best Produced Reggae Album, Best Reggae Album "Shadow of the Pyramid" and Best Reggae Instrumentalist "Shambu keyboards". Their album"Rights Of Man" was also voted by Reggae Report Magazine as the #1 "Best Independently Produced Reggae Album" by a U.S. based artist.
They have been influenced by many reggae greats; however several artists in particular had a profound impact on the band "Bob Marley, Steel Pulse, Aswad and Black Uhuru". As Further evidence, one of the bands songs "Living in Society" was chosen to be on the compilation CD entitled "Putamyo Presents the Best of World Music" off the Rhino Record Label alongside these reggae greats: Dennis Brown, Lucky Dube, Ijahman, Wailing Souls, Black Uhuru among others. This accomplishment was significant in this bands career because the producers of that album thought that this song was worthy to be on the same disc with these great artists.
In 2005 they released a compilation CD containing some of their best songs which has taken the internet by storm. They have received close to 300,000 downloads from their MP3 site. An international buzz is stirring about the Third Eye sound as evident by smatterings of email from England, France, Thailand, Budahpest, Africa, Germany, Japan, The Netherlands, South America, Canada and other regions as well..
